This series of mixed media works on paper were inspired by an experimental overlay of a tree cross-section any my own fingerprint as a means to find connections between patterns found in nature and those of the human body. The resulting series of mixed media drawings are abstract representations of the passage of time and a record of experienced events. Each drawing is 37” x 31”, colored pencil, gouache, watercolor, ink and charcoal on Stonehenge paper.
